Rent A Knee Walker Scholarship
Deadline: March 1, 2020     Amount: 2 at $500 each
Criteria: 1. Currently enrolled on a 2 or 4 year accredited college as an undergraduate, graduate-level or final year of high school (accepted into college), in the US. 2. Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. 3. There are no requirements in terms of physical disability or ability. All applications are welcome. 4. Family or relatives of Rent A Knee Walker employees or associates are ineligible. **2021 will have quarterly offers of the same amount**

Automotive Service Councils Educational Foundation (ASCEF)
Deadline:  Must be submitted by March 31, 2021
Criteria:  Planning to seek employment in the CA aftermarket/independent repair industry. Be a high school senior with min 2.0GPA who plans to enroll in post high school technical & academic training in the automotive field.
Amount:  18 scholarships granted from $500 - $1000 each

Tzu Chi Scholarship

Deadline: 2021 year TBD
Criteria: Applicants must demonstrate financial need, be a U.S. high school graduating senior, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and plan to enroll in an accredited U.S. college full-time for the 2020-2021 school year.
Description: This scholarship is funded by the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation to recognize and provide financial assistance to outstanding college-bound high school graduates. Applicants are selected based on their financial need, academic achievement, and community involvement.

CANERS Foundation Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants must graduating high school seniors with at least a B average and submit an application with at least two letters of recommendation.
Description: This scholarship is given by the CANERS Foundation, Endowment for Research and Scholarship to students planning to major in Horticulture or Agribusiness related to Horticulture.
Amount: $2,500 and above

Italian Catholic Federation Scholarship
Deadline: March 2021 TBD
Criteria: Students must achieve a total cumulative GPA (3½ years) of at least 3.2 and meet one of the following: 1) Are Roman Catholic and of Italian Descent and live within the Roman Catholic Dioceses of Arizona, California, Illinois and Nevada, only where Branches of the Federation are established; or, 2) Are Roman Catholic but need not be of Italian Descent or live where Branches of the Federation are established if either Roman Catholic parent, guardian or grandparent is a member of the “Italian Catholic Federation.”

Criteria: Must be a dependent of a vineyard employee and plan to attend a University of California, California State University or California community college.
Description: Selection is based upon financial need (which may be waived), demonstrated scholastic ability, community involvement and leadership and/or work history, and determination to succeed.

Slavic American Cultural Organization Scholarship
Deadline: March 2021 TBD
Criteria: Must be of slavic heritage (i.e. the former republics of Yugoslavia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, or Slovenia); must be a graduating Senior planning to attend an accredited university, college, junior college or technical school and must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.

Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group (PAFMG) Pre-Medical Scholarship
Amount: $25,000, paid out over 5 years  Deadline: March 26, 2021
Santa Cruz County High School Seniors that anticipate a career as a doctor. Plans to take pre-medicine courses to prepare for medical school.  Be in top 20 percent of class (verified by transcript). Demonstrate a need for financial assistance to attend a university. SJSU Alumni Scholarship - Santa Cruz Area Chapter
Deadline: March 2021 TBD
Criteria: Available to students who plan to attend San Jose State in the Fall. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA, be a graduating senior, show involvement in school and/or community, and have two letters of recommendation.
Description: SJSU would like to award students for staying local. 
Amount: $500 to $2,000 one-time and renewable scholarships available.

Mary Ann Gomez Scholarship
Amount: Up to $1,000 Deadline: March 2021 TBD
Children of Classified Staff Members, Classified Confidential Employees or Classified Management of the Pajaro Unified School District.·  Graduating High School Senior with 2.5 GPA or higher. Submit essay and official transcripts, no application. Minimum 300 word essay on the topic: Evaluate a significant experience, achievement, risk you have taken, or ethical dilemma you have faced and its impact on you or your community.

Sigma Alpha of Omega Nu Scholarship
Deadline: March 2021 TBD
Criteria: Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.2, be a senior enrolled at a local high school, have a financial need, and plan to attend a public California State College or University.
Description: This scholarship program was established in 1957 to assist qualified students who are planning to attend a public California college or university. They are based on financial need and scholastic achievement. Students need a letter of recommendation and a short biography explaining any special circumstances the committee should be aware of. 
Amount: $500 to $1,500, renewals permitted.

Gen Giammanco Foundation Scholarship
Deadline: March 2021 TBD
Criteria: The student athletes that are eligible for assistance must be high school students who reside in Monterey or Santa Cruz County. Eligible students must continue their education and athletic career at a junior college, college or university. Funding of a Gen Giammanco Foundation (GGF) Award is contingent on the student athlete becoming a member of an NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, or CCCAA collegiate athletic team. Consideration will also be given to the applicant's leadership, sportsmanship, community service, academic record and financial need. 
Description: The mission of the Gen Giammanco Foundation is to provide financial support to student athletes to assist in their pursuit of both scholastic and athletic success at the collegiate level.
