Mary Solari Scholarship
Deadline: May 5, 2017
Criteria: For graduating high school seniors with a GPA of 3.0 who plan on attending Cabrillo in the Fall of 2016 full-time.
Description: There will be approximately 50 Mary Scholarships awarded this year.
Award: $2,500 (disbursed over 4 semesters)

Excellence in Craftsmanship Award
Deadline: May 19, 2017
Criteria: Students must be in good standing in their classes and enrolled in a high school woodshop program. 
Description: Mission Bell Manufacturing, a commercial woodshop located in Morgan Hill, California, is offering it's first-ever, "Excellence in Craftsmanship Award" to local students enrolled in a high-school woodshop program. 
Cash prizes (less taxes and applicable withholding) will be awarded to the best student project as voted by a panel of Mission Bell Employees. This award was created to support aspiring woodshop students in furthering his or her career as a professional mill-worker. 
Award: 1st Place - $1,000 2nd Place- $500 3rd Place - $250

Insurance Professionals of Monterey Bay Scholarship
Deadline: May 19, 2017
Criteria: Completed application, minimum GPA of 2.75 verified by sealed transcript, essay of no more than 2 pages in length, applications and information must be postmarked by May 19th, 2017, to be eligible
Description: The Insurance Professionals of Monterey Bay is offering one $1,000 scholarship to a high school senior in Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara, or Santa Cruz County who is planning to continues his/her education after high school. Any student may apply for this scholarship, regardless of their gender or anticipated field of study.
Award: $1,000

2017 Alice B. Woolsey Scholarship 

Deadline:  Must be RECEIVED no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2017 
Criteria: Be a graduating senior who was a graduate of New Brighton Middle School; submit a completed scholarship application by Friday, May 26, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.; have acceptance as a full time student at an accredited college or paid upon confirmation of Community College registration before June 30, 2017.
Description: To support and further the education of students in our community, and through the gift of funds in loving memory of Alice B. Wolsey, former Soquel teacher, the district has established one scholarship of $500.00 to be awarded to a worthy high school graduating senior who was a graduate of New Brighton Middle School.
Award: $500.00

Azazie Scholarship For Santa Cruz County ROP Students
Deadline: May 31, 2017
Criteria: (1)Write an essay on the topic of "How would technology influence the fashion industry in the future?" (2) Email the essay, applicant's name, address, phone number and the university/school of attendance to 
Description: This is a new $1000 scholarship available for high school seniors and college freshmen and sophomore students, who are accepted or enrolled at an accredited U.S. or Canada college/university during the 2017-18 academic year.
Award: $1,000
