Important Graduation Information for Seniors
Graduation Rehearsal will be at 1:45 PM on Thursday, June 6th in the Stadium. Rehearsal is mandatory. Anyone who misses the Rehearsal will not be allowed to participate in the Ceremony. If you are late to Rehearsal, you will be assigned a seat at the back, so it may not be possible to sit with a friend.

Fuel Your Brain! - Jun 5
Fuel your brain with pizza the night before your last finals! OK, maybe we’re reaching here, but it’s for a great cause. Take out or dine in at Pizza My Heart on 41st Ave from 4-9pm on June 5th and a portion of profits will go to our award-winning music program. Make sure to tell the cashier you are supporting Soquel High Music.

Graduation Ceremony - Jun 7
The Graduation Ceremony will be held Friday, June 7th at 12:00 PM in the Stadium. To make sure this important occasion comes off without a hitch, please keep in mind that ALL graduates must wear a cap and gown. Those students who have never ordered cap and gown need to see Cheryl Walton in the Front Office as soon as possible.

Farewell Letter from Principal Atlansky
Dear Soquel High School Community,
As many of you know, I will be transitioning soon to a new role in district leadership to serve as the Director of Student Services. From my counseling position to administration, I am grateful for my last twelve years at Soquel High and have the deepest affection for the faculty, staff and students at Soquel High.
As many of you know, “caring relationships” is my cornerstone and I am especially proud of our caring and collaborative faculty and staff who work hard to support our large and diverse student population. I am also tremendously proud of all of our Soquel students for their commitment to creating a school where everyone is welcome.
Please know I am leaving you in good hands. Greg O’Meara, the current Director of Student Services, and I will be switching positions. An experienced Principal, Greg is excited about serving as Soquel Principal. Our administration has worked with Greg all year and we find him to be an intelligent, warm, collaborative, and committed educational leader. I am confident that he will support our school’s goals and vision. Greg will begin July 1st as Interim Principal, and everyone will have the opportunity to get to know him in the final weeks of school during scheduled faculty, parent, and student meetings. Here is a link to Greg's introductory letter.

It has truly been a pleasure and honor to serve the Soquel High School community. Thank you all for your support and kindness.

Best wishes always,

Gail Atlansky, Soquel High School Class of 1990, and soon-to-be former SHS Principal
