Soquel High Fund Meeting - Apr 10
All parents welcome! Please join SHF members, Principal Atlansky and our student body representative at the monthly meeting on Wednesday, April 10th at 7pm in the SHS Library. No volunteer commitment is required. This is just a great opportunity to meet the principal in a small group environment and learn what is happening at your student’s school.

SHF Officers Needed for Next Year!
The Soquel High Fund is looking for officers for next year. The open positions are President and Treasurer. The time commitment is minimal, but the opportunities to make a difference at your child’s school are so rewarding. For more information, please contact Sherri at sherrihyde@att.net

Attention AP Test Takers!
AP test pre-administration is Monday, April 22nd (C Day). Mr. Kendall will be in room 312 from 8 AM to 3:30 PM. Come by before or after school, or during an open period to complete the 30 minute pre-administration process. Pre-administration is required! Student who have not completed the pre-administration will not be able to test.

Parent Education Night: Opioids and Youth - Apr 15, 23
Please join us on April 15th at 6:30pm at Branciforte Middle School, and April 23rd at 6:30pm at Harbor High School, for this special parent education night. The district will be hosting these important informational presentations to discuss the effects of opioids on youth. You will learn about trends within our community, education and youth support, and prevention and intervention, and have the opportunity to ask questions.

Temporary Employment Opportunity at the Boardwalk - Apr 15-May 31
The Boardwalk is offering a 10 Day Work and Play Program to work food service and rides while its student employees are still in school. The 10 days are April 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and May 24, 28, 29, 30, 31. Applicants can apply directly HERE, and can schedule an interview after applying. Or, they can apply in person and do a drop-in interview M-Th: 10am-4pm, Fri: 11am-4pm and Sat: 10am-3pm. This is a great short-term employment opportunity and each person hired for the 10 days will receive 4 Boardwalk season passes for free!

2019/2020 Soquel Cheerleading Tryouts - Apr 16
Cheerleading tryouts will be held April 16th-April 19th in the Upper Gym. Sideline Cheer tryouts will be from 3-5pm and Competition Cheer will be from 5-6:30pm. Please wear workout clothes, tennis shoes, your hair up and no jewelry. Questions? Email soquelhighcheer@yahoo.com

ELAC Meeting - Apr 16
There will be an ELAC meeting on Tuesday, April 16th at 6pm in Room 101.

2019-20 Freshman Class Registration
If your current student has a sibling that will be a Freshman at Soquel High next year, don’t forget to pre-register through your parent portal by clicking the Pre-Registration link. If your student requires an inter- or intra-district transfer approval, don’t forget to apply!
