Advanced Theatre Presents Antigone Now - Jun 1,2
Soquel High School's Advanced Theatre class is proud to present Antigone Now by Melissa Cooper, a modern interpretation of Sophocles' classic tragedy. After the war for Thebes leaves two brothers dead, King Creon says that one brother will be buried with all military honors while the other is left to rot. Their sister Antigone risks it all to honor the memory of both brothers. This play is directed by Soquel High senior, Andrew Perez. Shows are Friday June 1st and Saturday June 2nd at 7pm in the Soquel High MPR. Tickets are $5 and go on sale 30 minutes before show time.

Important Graduation Information
Graduation Rehearsal will be at 1:45 PM on Thursday, June 7th in the Stadium. Rehearsal is mandatory. Anyone who misses the Rehearsal will not be allowed to participate in the Ceremony. If you are late to Rehearsal, you will be assigned a seat at the back, so it may not be possible to sit with a friend.

Graduation Ceremony will be held Friday, June 8th at 12:00 PM in the Stadium. To make sure this important occasion comes off without a hitch, please keep in mind these important considerations:
All graduates must wear a cap and gown.
Those students who have never ordered cap and gown need to see Cheryl Walton in the Front Office as soon as possible. Keep in mind that Graduation gowns and caps are a unifying symbol of the school and are not to be decorated or written on in any way. Students who do not have a standard, undecorated cap and gown will not be allowed to participate in the Ceremony. Flower leis are acceptable.
