Virtual Homecoming Week is Here! - Sep 28
This week will be a spirit week, so students should dress up for their zoom meetings and submit photos to enter the costume drawing.
Monday, 9/28: PJ Day
Tuesday, 9/29: Sports Day
Wednesday, 9/30: Crazy Hair or Hat Day
Thursday, 10/1: Blue and Gold Day
Friday, 10/2: Class Theme Day for
  Seniors: 2000s
  Juniors: 3000s
  Sophomores: Cavemen
  Freshmen: 1980s

Students can submit photos each day to be entered in the drawing for that day. Photos can be submitted to layladawson@sccs.net OR students can submit to or tag the soquelhighasb Instagram. All photos must be submitted by Friday, 10/2, at 1:30, and a drawing for prizes will be on Monday. The drawing will be divided into days, so PJ day will have a winner, etc.

Virtual Club Day for Freshmen - Sep 30
Freshmen, join the Zoom for Virtual Club Day on Wednesday, 9/30, from 1:30-2:30. The first 10 minutes will be brief introductions to each club on campus, and then students will be able to click on links into meetings with specific clubs and learn more about them. The Zoom Link will be posted in the Class of 2024 Google Classroom along with freshman English classes, and it is also located below:

Reducing College Costs Webinar - Oct 6
On October 6th at 6pm, we will host Steve Shapiro, a Financial advisor, who will virtually present his Reducing College Costs in the Covid 19 World. Drive for Schools is ON!
The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is again generously sponsoring the “Drive for Schools” fundraiser to benefit Santa Cruz County Schools. The lucky grand prize winner gets $25,000 cash! Many additional prizes will be awarded as well, including five $1000 cash prizes. Best of all, 100% of the money we raise goes to support Soquel High programs/clubs/sports! That’s right! ALL proceeds go to our school!

If you have not completed your student’s Back to School forms in your Illuminate Parent Portal, it is important that you do so as soon as possible. It is critical that all legal guardians, as well as emergency contacts, are included in Illuminate. To check if you have forms requiring completion, please click here to log into your Parent Portal. If you do not have a Parent Portal, you may request one here.
