American Sign Language Now Offered!
For students who are interested in learning American Sign Language for credit, Cabrillo is now offering ASL 1 dual enrollment for high school students. The course runs January 27th - May 20th, meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15-5:35pm on the Harbor High School campus. The course is 5 units; 4 hours lecture, 3 hours lab (online), and is equivalent to two years of high school world language study. Plus, it transfers to CSU and UC. Interested students should see their counselor for more information.

Cabrillo Transcripts Needed
Students who have taken classes at Cabrillo this semester must bring their Cabrillo transcript to their counselor to get credit for the courses as soon as they are available.

Holiday Carolers For Hire
Soquel High Jazz Singers are available to carol for your holiday event! We arrive dressed beautifully and sing carols in four part harmony, adding the perfect touch of holiday cheer to your events! We ask a minimum $100 donation, which helps us raise funds for our travel and combo expenses for the year. If you are interested in booking the Jazz Singers, please email Zina at

Winter Choral Concert - Dec 11
Soquel High School’s Winter Choral Concert will be taking place on Wednesday, December 11th in the MPR at 7:30pm, and will feature performances by our Mixed Chorus, Jazz Singers and Concert Choir, with special guests Branciforte Middle School Choir. Tickets are $7 general admission, $3 kids under 12 and $10 reserved seats. Reserved seats can be purchased by emailing Zina Urquhart at with your name and the number of seats you wish to reserve, and sending payments in a sealed envelope either with a choir member or to Cheryl in the front office. Please request reservation and send payment by Monday, December 9th.

Soquel High Fund Meeting - Dec 11
Parents, please join the SHF officers, Principal O’Meara, our amazing student representative, and other parents for our monthly SHF meeting on Wednesday, December 11th at 7pm in Room 312. To learn more about the group, click here.

Principal's Community Coffee Forum - Dec 13
Please join Principal O'Meara on Friday, December 13th, from 8:45 to 9:45am in Room 107 for the Community Coffee Forum.  The topic of discussion will be the dangers of teen vaping.

Soquel Music Fundraiser Dec 15
Come show your support for Soquel High Music on Sunday, December 15th, 6-9pm at East Cliff Brewing Company. Enjoy great music from Zack Olsen's Jazz Quartet featuring some of our very own Soquel Music students. Delicious food, drinks and auction baskets will be available. The brewery owners will donate 20% of the profit from that night's sales to SoMu.

Final Exams Begin - Dec 16
Final exams begin on Monday, December 16th with First Period Finals and a Modified C Day. For the entire Finals Week schedule, please click here.

Winter Band Dessert Concert - Dec 19
Come enjoy the award-winning bands at the winter dessert concert on Thursday, December 19th at 7pm in the MPR. Families are encouraged to bring a dessert to share. Attendance is free of charge, but donations are always welcome. This is an amazing production but we couldn’t do it without volunteers. To help with decorations, setup, help during the concert or clean-up, email Zach Olsen at
