Amount:$500-$1,000 Deadline: April 1, 2022
Eligible applicants must be entering or already pursuing a college degree and have ties to Santa Cruz County. Preference will be given to: (1) students who will pursue a military career,  (2) students whose parents, grandparents or sibling have served or are serving in the military and (3) students who are closely related to a Military Officers Association Santa Cruz member

The California Association of Professional Firefighters Scholarship
Deadline: April 30, 2022
Amount: Four scholarships at $500 each
Requirements: Child of CAPF Participants who has participated since April 1, 2020 or prior or child of NPFBA Participant who has participated since April 1, 2020. • Enrolled or planning to enroll in full-time course of study at accredited community college,  college, university, vocational or technical school. • 3.0 or better GPA on 4.0 scale

We the Students Scholarship Essay Contest
Amount: 16 student winners for a total possible $20,000

The scholarship will be awarded to one high school in grades 9-12 attending a school in one of the participating states.

Ocean Mist Scholarship

 Rotary Club of Santa Cruz Sunrise Youth Scholarships
Deadline:  April 15, 2022
Criteria: For high school seniors planning to further their education at either an academic or vocational college. Both academic performance and a need for financial assistance are taken into account as well as active involvement in the school and community.
Description: Rotary scholarships are available for both academic and vocational fields of study. There are three categories of scholarships available.

High School Scholarship Application for Cabrillo College 
Amount: $500         Deadline: Spring 2022
Scholarships are awarded to Santa Cruz County high school seniors once they enroll full time at Cabrillo College. Scholarships are disbursed in Fall 2021 after attendance is confirmed. Scholarship amounts are typically $500. In addition, all students are encouraged to complete the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Dream Application, in order to be considered for financial aid funds.

LA Tutors Innovation in Education Scholarship
Deadline:  The 20th day of each month... April 20, 2022 onward
Criteria: Students must be seniors bound for college, a grade point average of 3.0 and above, and a US citizen or permanent resident
Description: Showcase your creativity/innovation skills by either solving a problem, or designing something that helps others solve problems, in several different possible presentation formats.
Amount: $500.00 every month - reapply in May!... and June!

Hellenic Cultural Institute Student Scholarship Program

Deadline: April 26, 2021
Criteria: Students must be seniors bound for college, a grade point average of 3.0 and above, exemplary classroom conduct, a brief biographical sketch, and completion of the application form, a minimum 600-word essay on: “The Causes of the 1821 Greek Revolution and Its Aftermath"
Description: The institute offers scholarships to high school students of the Central Coast, who have demonstrated an interest in the area of Hellenic History and Civilization, by way of Greek literature, drama, poetry, and the arts, as well as other aspects of Greek culture.
Amount: $10,000 amongst winners

Big Creek Lumber McCrary Family Scholarship

Criteria: Applicant must be a high school senior who plans to attend a university or college majoring in forestry or attend a trade, vocational or truck driving school in the fall of 2022.  Only open to applicants who live within a 25 mile distance of Big Creek Lumber.

Jose Luis Mandujano Memorial Scholarship
: April 29, 2022
Criteria: Applicant must be a high school senior who plans to attend a university or college majoring in Agriculture in the fall of 2022. Must be a resident of Monterey, Santa Cruz or San Benito counties.  Submit 2 letters or recommendation and a 500-word essay.

CANERS Foundation Scholarship
Deadline : April 30, 2022
Criteria: Applicants must graduating high school seniors with at least a B average and submit an application with at least two letters of recommendation.
Description: This scholarship is given by the CANERS Foundation, Endowment for Research and Scholarship to students planning to major in Horticulture or Agribusiness related to Horticulture.
Amount: $2,500 and above
