April 30, 2021
Applicants must demonstrate financial need, be a U.S. high school graduating senior, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and plan to enroll in an accredited U.S. college full-time for the 2020-2021 school year.
This scholarship is funded by the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation to recognize and provide financial assistance to outstanding college-bound high school graduates. Applicants are selected based on their financial need, academic achievement, and community involvement.

Eligible applicants must be entering or already pursuing a college degree and have ties to Santa Cruz County. Preference will be given to: (1) students who will pursue a military career,  (2) students whose parents, grandparents or sibling have served or are serving in the military and (3) students who are closely related to a Military Officers Association Santa Cruz member

The California Association of Professional Firefighters Scholarship
Deadline: April 30, 2021
Amount: Four scholarships at $500 each
Requirements: Child of CAPF Participants who has participated since April 1, 2020 or prior or child of NPFBA Participant who has participated since April 1, 2020. • Enrolled or planning to enroll in full-time course of study at accredited community college,  college, university, vocational or technical school. • 3.0 or better GPA on 4.0 scale

High School Scholarship Application for Cabrillo College 
Amount: $500         Deadline:  April 16, 2021
Scholarships are awarded to Santa Cruz County high school seniors once they enroll full time at Cabrillo College. Scholarships are disbursed in Fall 2021 after attendance is confirmed. Scholarship amounts are typically $500. In addition, all students are encouraged to complete the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Dream Application, in order to be considered for financial aid funds.
In order to be considered for a scholarship, you must submit the High School Scholarship Application, as well as an unofficial high school transcript. You may need to check in with your high school's registrar or counseling office in order to obtain your unofficial transcripts. Unofficial Transcripts can be submitted to the Financial Aid Office (SAC East- Welcome Center) in person, or you can email to Holly Goodman at [email protected] Please use "High School Scholarship Transcript" in the subject line.

LA Tutors Innovation in Education Scholarship
Deadline:  The 20th day of each month... April 20, 2021 onward
Criteria: Students must be seniors bound for college, a grade point average of 3.0 and above, and a US citizen or permanent resident
Description: Showcase your creativity/innovation skills by either solving a problem, or designing something that helps others solve problems, in several different possible presentation formats.

Hellenic Cultural Institute Student Scholarship Program

Deadline: April 26, 2021
Criteria: Students must be seniors bound for college, a grade point average of 3.0 and above, exemplary classroom conduct, a brief biographical sketch, and completion of the application form, a minimum 600-word essay on: “The Causes of the 1821 Greek Revolution and Its Aftermath"
Description: The institute offers scholarships to high school students of the Central Coast, who have demonstrated an interest in the area of Hellenic History and Civilization, by way of Greek literature, drama, poetry, and the arts, as well as other aspects of Greek culture.
Amount: $10,000 amongst winners

CAA/ESA Youth Scholarship Program
Amount: $1,500 to $25,000       Deadline: April 2021 TBD
Criteria: Available to high school students who are children of active law enforcement duty and have excelled academically and are active in their community.
Description: Submit an essay about how his/her parent/guardian helps secure their community- the essay is judged on grammar and content and reinforces the important role that law enforcement and fire service personnel play in our community.
