Deadline: May 14, 2021 by 6pm
Must be a resident of Scotts Valley or attend SVHS 
Be in good academic standing at GPA 3.0 or better
Participate in at 1 school sponsored & 1 non-school sponsored club/activity
Consideration is given to financial need
Please submit:
1. A letter of interest from the student addressed to the Rotary Club of Scotts Valley. The letter should include information about college plans and goals, with a minimum of 250 words and a maximum of 750. Please
include your email address and phone number.
2. A copy of the current high school transcript.
3. A summary of achievements, activities, and community involvement.
4. A statement regarding financial need, if that is a consideration

Richard Robinson Memorial Scholarship
Deadline: May 1, 2021
For Soquel High School students ONLY! 
Be in good academic standing at GPA 3.5 or better
Submit an essay, transcript, and 2 letters of recommendation
Plan to attend 4 or 2 year college/university or trade school
Award is for one year, but renewable annually for up to 4 years

Caltrans Dist. 5 Employee Scholarship
Deadline: May 3, 2021
Amount:  2 scholarships of $750 each

For Santa Cruz District students
Plan to attend 4 or 2 year college/university or trade school
A copy of your high school transcript and list of honors & awards
        A one page summary explaining why you are the best candidate for the scholarship and why you would like to pursue a career in transportation

Merritt S Duncan Scholarship
Deadline: May 17, 2021
Be a resident of Santa Cruz County, California
Be in good academic standing
Demonstrate financial need
Plan to attend full-time, Cabrillo College or the University of California, Santa Cruz

B.Davis Scholarship
Deadline: May 22, 2021
Criteria: There is no age restriction. Be sure to include your name and the school you are attending this year and next. This is not an academic scholarship but we would like to know where you are going to school now and what your future academic plans are.
Description: This Scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post-secondary institution.
Award: $1,000

Criteria: Enrolled at an accredited college, or university in the U.S. or your final year of high school
Aged sixteen (16) years or older
Carry a status of "good standing" (i.e. currently enrolled)
Maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 (or equivalent)  
There are no requirements in terms of physical disability or ability. All applications are welcome. 

Alice B. Woolsey Scholarship
Deadline: May 17, 2021 by 5pm local
Criteria: Be a graduating senior who was a graduate of New Brighton Middle School; have accepted as a full-time student at an accredited college or paid upon confirmation of Community College registration before June 30. 
Description: To support and further the education of students in our community, and through the gift of funds in loving memory of Alice B. Woolsey, former Soquel teacher, the district has established one scholarship of $500.00 to be awarded to a worthy high school graduating senior who was a graduate of New Brighton Middle School.
