Attention Seniors and Parents of Seniors - Important FAFSA Information!
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the form you need to fill out to get any financial aid from the federal government to help pay for college. Each year, over 13 million students who file the FAFSA get more than $120 billion in grants, work-study, and low-interest loans from the U.S. Department of Education. Lots of states and colleges also use the FAFSA to determine which students get financial aid—and how much they’ll get. The FAFSA asks for information about you and your family’s finances, including tax returns, so you’ll need your parents’ help to complete it. The FAFSA application is linked on the school website under Counseling>Financial Aid and in the 2021 Google classroom. If you have questions, please contact your counselor.

Cash 4 College Workshops
Attention Senior parents! Cabrillo will help you with your student's FAFSA or Dream Act Application at their Cash 4 College workshops. Both applications are due 3/2/21, to receive the maximum money.

Check out the Cash For College and 2020-21 Financial Aid Application Checklist fliers with the workshop dates and the checklist with what you need to complete the application. The Zoom links are available on Cabrillo's website calendar: https://www.cabrillo.edu/services/finaid/fafsaworkshops.html
Please contact Mrs. Banks at bbanks@sccs.net with any questions!
